キバシウシツツキ - Yellow-billed Oxpecker - Buphagus africanus

背中に居着いて、ダニやら虫やらを食べてくれるというところまではよいが、チョロチョロと我が物顔に腹や尻を行き来するだけでなく、頭の後で彼女を追っかけ、高らかに愛を歌いだす、しかもこの厚かましい顔だ。だから水牛は深く感謝しているかというとそうでもなくて、結構嫌そうに追払っている。もちろんウシツツキは牛の耳の後にあって東風の馬耳を射るが如きあり。
