ユーラシア大陸にいない、アメリカムシクイの続き。だいたいこういう感じで、白黒灰黄のやつが多い。それに時々朱色が混ざってきたりする。

そもそも、アメリカ大陸の鳥相は旧大陸のものとだいぶ様子が異なる。そこに、まぁ適当といってはいけないが、結構気ままに名前を付けてしまったので、いろいろ混乱のもとになっている。あこれミカンじゃん、へーここにもあるんだーとか言って名付けたら、全然ミカンじゃなかった、みたいな例がいろいろある。
