日本のキジバトの色調を全体に少しくすませて、その分少し紅を加えてから首に派手な風呂敷を巻くとこの鳩の出来上がり。この写真はハワイで撮ったものだが、台湾でも香港でもマレーシアでも普通種で、キジバトより勢力が強い感じがする。
